Biography
Mr. Edmondson is a graduate of the University of South
Alabama and the Jones School of Law. In 19887 he began his practice of law in
Montgomery, Alabama. For seventeen and a half years he worked at the law firm
of Azar & Azar, LLC where his practice ranged from nursing home litigation,
wrongful death, corporate laws, wills and estates to real property law.
After several years, realizing that he enjoyed courtroom
work, but otherwise having a great interest in real estate, Mr. Edmondson began
to focus his practice on real estate litigation including landlord-tenant
relations, judicial foreclosure, boundary line disputes, mortgage enforcement
and title law.
In September of 2003, Mr. Edmondson formed the law firm of
Charles W. Edmondson, P.C. The firm specializes in all facets of real estate
law. Mr. Edmondson is an approved real estate closing attorney for every known
national and regional mortgage company providing lending services in Central
Alabama. He enjoys expertise in forming legal entities to hold title to real
property such as limited liability companies, partnerships and corporations.
The firm also specializes in post real estate acquisition needs such as lease
enforcement, foreclosure and eviction of defaulting tenants.
